Psychological romantic drama directed by Olav Neuland. The film is based on the novel "Corrida" by Teet Kallas.

Osvald Rass is an aging literary critic who makes up his mind to leave the town and move to a lonely island with his young wife Ragne, hoping to find inspiration and harmony there. Their idyllic summer is interrupted by uninvited guests. Photographer Tarmo, Ragne's ex-boyfriend, appears from the sea. A sinister-looking bull starts to bother them, followed by the whole cattle. This leads to the bull fight where the two men are ready to prove their love towards Ragne.

Episodes about the everyday life in collective farms and the film chronicles about the era of the first Republic of Estonia, about the rural life and founding of collective farms. Poetical documentary by Arnold Altmäe about the idle winter period in fishermen's lives and the human yearning for a real profession.

The documentary was completed as a graduation work at the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography. It tells about the fishermen in a collective farm in Nasva, Saaremaa island. We can see the fishermen preparing for winter as they take their boats out of water. They have nothing much to do except ice fishing. When spring arrives, the long-awaited trawl ship returns from ocean fishing and finally a motorboat together with nets and fishermen goes off to sea again.
