The documentary was completed as a graduation work at the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography. It tells about the fishermen in a collective farm in Nasva, Saaremaa island. We can see the fishermen preparing for winter as they take their boats out of water. They have nothing much to do except ice fishing. When spring arrives, the long-awaited trawl ship returns from ocean fishing and finally a motorboat together with nets and fishermen goes off to sea again.
