Bronze as a material became prevalent in Estonian sculpture during the years 1970s-1980s. Numerous public sculptures and individual artworks were completed in bronze. The documentary tries to find answers to the question why the number of suicides is so high in Estonia while investigating the stories of those who have attempted suicide.

Every year there are almost 600 suicide attemps which is the same number as people who died in the tragic sinking of the ship "Estonia". What can be the reason for this? Why does this sad statistics show Estonia as a leader in the number of suicides? Is it the loss of security for some layers of fast changing society; or is it the nearly six-month-long Nordic darkness - a combination of the depressive darkness and deeply introverted personalities? The answers to these questions are investigated through the stories of three people who have attempted suicide.

The basis for the dynamic community of the European Union is the harmonization of certain rules. This applies to preservation of nature as well, and thus we hear more and more about the mysterious Natura 2000. Natura 2000 is a Europe-wide network of nature preserves, consisting of bird preserves and nature preserves. A large part of the existing preserves in Estonia fit surprisingly easily into Natura 2000. The film shows the types of habitats in western Estonia, because it was here that the pilot project for Natura 2000 was launched. This land is many thousands of years younger than the inland – even now the earth’s crust is rising here and the land being born from the ocean – Terra Maritima – has a thousand faces. In addition to the coastline, the film introduces various types of meadows - all very valuable habitats.

Anything can happen at sea. You are eating your daily sandwich on the deck of the ship when suddenly some shark with its dorsal fin swollen from greed, or gigantic sly seagull, or a spicy storm that has just capsized a spice ship, attacks you. That is just the way it is at sea, and those storm are the absolute worst. But nevertheless, as opposed to other ships, one ship must always be at sea, even if it is raining stone herrings from the sky!
