The procession of the 8th song festival of expatriate Latvians in Canada, held in central Toronto on July 6, 1986. The festival is dedicated to the 750th anniversary of the Battle of Saule. The brass band leads the procession, followed by choirs and dance groups, everyone wearing Latvian national costumes. Latvian groups from USA (from Boston, Detroit, Los Angeles, NYC etc.) have joined the Canadian Latvians. The Toronto Latvian Centre looks very busy. Expatriate Latvians keep bringing more and more packages of humanitarian aid to be sent to their relatives and friends in their homeland. People fill in delivery forms and pay postal charges by the desk where volunteers help.

Folk dancers and female gymnasts are performing at 11th Estonian Days on Olympic Park sports stadium in Melbourne. Young women perform an act with loops and a freestyle act. Solo performance by a gymnast. A bigger group of gymnasts on the stadium. Arrival of the folk dancers to the square. The programme includes several dances. When female folk dancers perform, male groups are sitting on the grass and watching and vice versa. When the celebration ends, dancers line up on the verge of the stadium.
