On August 23, 1989 the Baltic Way was formed – a 600-kilometre-long human chain from Tallinn through Riga to Vilnius.

On the 50th anniversary of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact (August 23rd, 1989), a non-violent protest action was organized called the Baltic Way that aimed at directing the world's attention to the attempts of the Baltic States to regain independence. Around two million people held hands in a 600-kilometres-long human chain through the Baltic states, while expressing their unity for becoming free countries. She is emotionally reciting poems that she has never published.

PPianist and music teacher Heljo Sepp recalls her beloved teacher and composer Heino Eller. She talks about her PhD dissertation at the Moscow Conservatoire where she researched the piano music by Heino Eller. She is interviewed by music historian Ivalo Randalu. They walk in Kadriorg Park, in Eller's summer home in Laulasmaa and by the sea. Background music is Eller's "Melody of Homeland" ("Kodumaine viis"). Heljo Sepp has a lot to say about its harmony, dynamics, tension of the piece; she also recalls the story of how she found the piece and titled it.
