The heroes of the film are three bear cubs from the cult painting by Ivan Shishkin “Morning in a Pine Forest”. Johannes Võerahansu (1902 -1980) is one of the most prominent masters of painting in Estonia. Võerahansu has shown his work at exhibitions and attracted attention with his drawings; however, he was more intrigued by the art of painting himself.
