Ta tänab Kanada kogukonda toetusavalduste eest ja Toronto linnavalitsust. Silinš meenutab Nõukogude režiimi poolt oma rahvale põhjustatud kannatusi ja tõdeb, et kahetsusväärselt uputatakse inimeste vabaduspüüe tänaselgi päeval verre.
