Celebration of the Recognition of Lithuanian Independence in Toronto

The solidarity meeting held in central Toronto in December 1990 where the participants require international recognition for the newly elected government in Lithuania. People have gathered to the square with the national flags of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Politician Bob Rae (Robert Keith Rae) is speaking about (synchronized) the political direction of George Bush, President of the United States and Mikhail Gorbachev (head of the Soviet Union) and calls the states for the support the freedom fight in the Baltic states.
