Floor No 9 (2021)

The short fiction film is about loneliness and ruthless longing for freedom.

Young single mother Lili (Lena Barbara Luhse) is planning to have a romantic weekend getaway with her new lover Raimond (Kristjan Poom). When Lili is getting ready, she feels so good that she even decides not to take her prescription drugs this weekend, because nothing could go wrong with Raimond.
Shortly after that turns out Andres (Steven-Kristjan Tšoba), the dad of their 4 year old son with a hearing impairment, can’t keep Paul (Tom Kalvik) because of an unexpected work trip and has to bring him back. Lili is devastated and ready to give up on the lovely weekend but Raimond calls, still trying to change her mind and Lili’s devious side starts to take over the control. Lili feels the pressure of her annoying kid Paul, there is an impossible communication barrier between them and she feels that Paul only makes her life more difficult.
She decides to leave her child alone in the apartment, purposely creating the conditions too hard for him to survive by leaving him without any food or water.
