Guntis Silinš asetab lilled lipumasti jalamile. Järgneb leinaminut. Miitingulised hoiavad leinalintidega Eesti, Leedu ja Läti rahvuslippe. Leedu esindaja räägib sõjalistest konfliktidest maailmas, Kuveidi kriisist. Baltimaad on aga 50 aastat sõjas olnud, nüüd taotletakse iseseisvust. Lauldakse Läti hümni.
