Culture-historical retrospect to the marriage of painter Johannes Võerahansu and pianist Erna Saar that was characterized by deep respect and love towards art.

Johannes Võerahansu (1902 -1980) is one of the most prominent masters of painting in Estonia. He obtained his first exhaustive art education in the legendary Ants Laikmaa's studio school in early 1920s. Võerahansu has shown his work at exhibitions and attracted attention with his drawings; however, he was more intrigued by the art of painting himself. Oma abikaasat meenutab kontsertpianist ja kauaaegne klaveripedagoog Erna Saar. Vanadaam kirjeldab oma tutvumise lugu ja vaimset lähedustunnet endast üle kolmekümne aasta vanema muusikalembese kunstnikuga. The main principle of Johannes Käis (1885–1950) is that "instead of teaching children that they must know facts, they should learn how to search for knowledge and how to find it, and to grow them intellectually independent people". Käis's works were forbidden to the mid-1960s during the Soviet era and he was accused for propagating bourgeois-nationalist views. The documentary that has been commissioned by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Estonia gives an overview about Johannes Käis's life; his students and relatives share their memories and recollections; educational historians appreciate Käis's valuable life's work.
