The short documentary made by director-editor Eik Erik Sikk, DoP Tristan Luige and sound engineer Ralf Schneider creates an insight to the creative process of two Estonian music producers, Sander Mölder and Sammalhabe.

“A Question of Recording” presents a small overview of two Estonian music producer’s creative processes and their personalities: how and why do they work with sound art. The main cause of this project is to record local artists in their own element, in a environment where they feel safe, and fit it all into the narrow frame of a portrait story. Being the first try in this format, the film opens the gate for making similar clips in the future, mapping out the contemporary Estonian music makers like a visual almanac.
