Kirsikka Ruohonen was scared to perform her lyrics. Finally, she came out from the rap closet and showed that it is possible to do rap in a different way.

Rap scene all over the world has been very patriarchal and Finland is not an exception. There have not been many female rappers and time to time, they haven’t been taken seriously. Females used to be considered more as a background dancers and girlfriends, than real rap music lovers. Kirsikka Ruohonen also known as a rap artist Adikia, spent many years in a rap closet because of the toxicity in the rap scene. She wanted to be ready when she came out from the closet. Finally, she was ready to show people, what she had been doing behind closed doors.

A cancer that is going to kill her within five years and she is okay with it. In the film we follow her process of preparing to die wile grieving her recently passed sister and wiriting her will.

The film is a humorously wistful documentation of families living in the snowy fields of Lapland, apartments in Vantaa, on the staircases of shopping malls, at construction sites, hotel lobbies, and of grandchildren in the living rooms of Estonian grandmothers who are waiting for their children to come home.
