Ivan, a slavic looking soldier, loots an occupied house and finds a silhouette of a person from his army attempting suicide there. As he tries to talk the silhouette out of taking his own life, a war- truck suddenly passes by the window and illuminates the face of the stranger. It is identical to Ivan's but damaged. Ivan has a panic attack and collapses as his future self warns of a prophecy.

There is still such a nature in Emajõe-Suursoo that is vanishing from the rest of the world. The vast delta allows the species to live on its own, without much human intervention, even though man has been seeking refuge and food supplements in the swamp for thousands of years. Vello makes a living from beekeeping and hunting, his life flows in the rhythm of nature.

The film is a poetic dialogue between the bay and the fishermen.
