A poetic documentary about life in a war torn Chechen village, with the cemetery as its symbolic focal point. The village lives and breathes in unison. The Chechen gravediggers are always busy. Death is an everyday visitor. It does not even matter that yet another war has ended. The people live stuck in a circle of vengeance. They also gather into circles to chant prayers to God. Only the cows are grazing calmly next to the cemetery and the children are happily going about their business. The Chechens’ parting words to one another are, “May you come back free!”

The owner of a small dairy farm holds old-fashion cow keeping in esteem and goes to sell milk himself.

Today's milk production in Estonia moves to the direction of big cattles and automated farms. Rein Külama still runs the archaic small diary farm. Together with his wife they take care of their cattle themselves and sell milk to people. Already for the past twenty years Rein has had a ritual – twice a week he drives through Maardu and former summer cottages district in order to sell milk. Despite the fact that there are raw milk automatic stations in supermarkets, the old-fashioned milk selling still has its magic and the clientele.
