Documentary directed by Vahur Laiapea about Tiina Rekand, teacher of Estonian language in Crimean Aleksandrovka school and Rita Kuusk-Kadilkina, a Crimean-Estonian woman who has provided temporary home for teachers from Estonia.

In August 2008, a 23-year-old reporter Tiina Rekand working for the newspaper "Postimees", went to teach children with Estonian roots Estonian language at Aleksandrovka Secondary School in Crimea, Ukraine. She started to live in the house of Rita Kuusk-Kadilkina, the chairwoman of Estonian Society in Krasnodarka village. Rita is a descendant of Estonians who emigrated from Järva county, Estonia to Crimea in 1860s. As she defines herself: "I am a Crimean-Estonian". Estonian Film Database (EFDB)

The database is maintained by NGO Estonian Film Database. It was opened on 12.12.2012 and is meant for providing information about the whole Estonian film heritage from 1912. We plan fully complete it by 2025 but already now full and partial entries for about 20 000 films, 27 000 filmmakers, and more than 200 production companies could be retrieved in Estonian and partly in English. Translation of film descriptions and keywords into English is ongoing but due to the scarcity of resources quite a slow process. Read more detailed overview.
