A hord of penguins migrate to a rural Estonian village.

In a small rural village, local hoodlum Türna, abandons his pregnant wife. Aapo gets a feeling that he might be an ant. A beefeater gets a terrible itch in his hat. A penguin is crushed to find its girlfriend cheating on him with a walrus - it decides to leave his homeland. Other penguins follow his lead. All of their paths cross in Türnas village, during the solstice.

Ave Hansen's, Gertu Pabbo's and Indra-Mirell Zeinet's animated videoinstallation "Spiritflight" has been made in collaboration with Tallinn Photomuseum. Animation is made to be projected on the opposite wall of the museum. The animation is hand drawn and has original sound.

There is no certain narrative in the animation. The film is built on different symbols and depicts a photocamera as something that catches things - whether the glances, the time or the souls. The animation is all about what might happen when the shutter is off.
