Documentary about the possibilities to preserve the wooden architecture of a city in contemporary urban environment with the examples from Baltic states and Scandinavia. Filmmakers follow the renovation works of an old wooden house in Väike-Patarei Street, Kalamaja district in Tallinn. During one year, the house will be restored into the condition of a contemporary residential house. Both experts and city residents from Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Latvia etc. share their opionions about the future and sustainability of the subject of restoring wooden architecture. For decades, renovating wooden architecture was considered something unimportant.

Lenin (7134m) is a mountain in Kyrgystan and the first challenge for alpinists who dream of climbing the highest points in the world. The documentary describes the first meeting with Lenin for a group of young climbers. In addition to the physical preparations, climbing such a high mountain needs nerves of steel. From a team of eight men in Jaan Künnap´s Alpinist Club, only three took up the journey. The film looks at the alpinists in close-up, even when the height has wrenched their bodies and confidence begins to slip.

The documentary tries to find answers to the question why the number of suicides is so high in Estonia while investigating the stories of those who have attempted suicide.

Every year there are almost 600 suicide attemps which is the same number as people who died in the tragic sinking of the ship "Estonia". What can be the reason for this? Why does this sad statistics show Estonia as a leader in the number of suicides? Is it the loss of security for some layers of fast changing society; or is it the nearly six-month-long Nordic darkness - a combination of the depressive darkness and deeply introverted personalities? The answers to these questions are investigated through the stories of three people who have attempted suicide.
