A special attention is being given to melioration and soil preparation, but also to the rational use of soil preparation tools in bigger production enterprises. Amateur feature film produced in 1963, co-financed by the expatriate Estonians living in Canada and based on Eerik Heine’s original script. The film portrays conditions in Estonia during 1946-1947, fight of the ‘forest brothers’ with the occupying forces and worry towards the outburst of the next war, mixed with the hope to restore the independence of the Republic of Estonia.

In 1946-47, a group of resistance fighters led by captain Lembit Mõtus hide in a bunker of the ’forest brothers’, waiting for liberation of Estonia and struggle with local Soviet authorities. After a rape attempt in the woods, Lembit's pretty bride Linda moves to live with the ’forest brothers’. Local fellow villager working at railway informs them about the arriving train transporting money. They rob the train and decide to share the million Roublesa the with hundred neighbouring farms for paying compulsory taxes. Villager Endel, forest warden Juhan and his wife Maali get killed in the battle.
