100th anniversary of Kreenholm (1957)

Narva warmly welcomes 32 delegations and hundreds of former workers of the Kreenholm Manufacturing Company during the jubilee celebrations. The law about rewarding of the manifacturing company with the Lenin's Order was confirmed. The vice-chairman of the Council of Ministers, Valter Klauson, announces the news at the public meeting of the jubilee celebrations. Views of Narva in summer. Guests from near and far gather at the festive jubilee meeting at the new House of Culture named after Gerasimov. Head of the manufacturing company, Viktor Markov, holds a presentation. Former textile workers Anna Paas, Martin Tasane, Marie Koljan and others are among the honorary guests. Vladimir Käo, Minister of Light Industry, and lifelong worker Albert Mesilane forward their greetings. Numerous greetings and gifts are received. At the end of the event, a large-scale public celebration is held in the culture park of Narva: people dance and there are fireworks in the evening sky.
