500th birth anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci (1952)

Festive meeting held at the Estonian National Opera, dedicated to the 500th birth anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci.

Eduard Einmann, chairman of the Artists' Association of the Estonian Soviet Socialist Republic, gives an overview about the life and artwork of the famous Renaissance artist Leonardo da Vinci at the great hall of the Estonian National Opera. Leonardo da Vinci's portrait with the dates 1452-1952 is hanging above the stage. The reproductions of the famous paintings "Mona Lisa", "The Last Supper" etc. as well as the drawings about da Vinci's inventions are shown on the screen. Audience listening in the great hall.
