Short synopsis:

A Japanese man is leaving a French woman for... a mountain. It`s an eternal quest for Mont Blanc - The White Mountain. The highest of peaks. Much too close to see because it lies in your own heart.

time for the birds to leave
to fly home, singing

the leaves scatter, but
the colour remains the same -
in this fleeting world
of ours, the human heart
is the only such flower

it will enslave you
 
the silence here,
like a siren's song
is where you wish to drown
deeper and deeper...

but what do the cherries taste like
there - in the valley beyond
