This Estonian feature film is among the few films produced before 1940 that have been almost fully preserved and tells about the legendary adventures of the noble robber Jüri Rumm in 1880s, Estonia. The story begins with the manor house servant Jüri who gets physically punished. As a proud and independent young man, he won't forgive this to the noblemen.
