Blackbird (2022)

Robin Marten Leppik's documentary follows the creation and development of set design for the theatre through Johan Elm's production Musträstas.

Firstly an empty stage full of potential. Then the artist’s studio is introduced, the prework of any set designer. Followed by the construction of every individual element in the set. Which then get put together on stage. Once complete, the story of the play takes over. Finally the stage is emptied.
