Australian Christmas (2021)

Joosep Ehasalu’s observational short documentary shows a slice of idyllic childhood near Elva.

Near Elva, under its wintery trees there lives a family who receive a christmas package from the other side of the world, Australia. The air is filled with excitement and the pack is quickly opened. The excitement slowly wanes, and it is time to hear a couple of pages from The Hobbit and go to sleep.
