Lullaby (2021)
Original title in Estonian: Hällilaul
Inspired by a tragedy that happened in Finland in 2020, HÄLLILAUL is a story about mentally ill Laura, who loses custody of her 4-year-old daughter Klaara. This drives Laura to “kidnap” Klaara from the kindergarten. When father, Sander, realizes what has happened, he hurries to Laura’s house. Knowing that Laura has abused Klaara before, Sander tries to get the child out of the house. However, his actions only push Laura deeper and deeper into her delusions and finally drive her onto the verge of killing Klaara.
