Aurora’s song (2021)

While mourning the loss of her partner, Margit reconnects with her mother-in-law Juula through their shared grief.

Margit (Ester Kuntu), is in grief work because Aurora’s (Maria Paiste) death. She remembers when she digs up Aurora's necklace in the garden of the cabin where she is living and the sudden visit of her mother-in-law Juula (Elina Reinold), who gave her sleeping pills, trying to help her to rest better. By using these pills, Margit begins to dream of Aurora and to have hallucinations. Has a second visit from Juula, and they fix their differences. Margit is trapped in pain and desire her to reconnect with Aurora. She sees her again in her imaginary world, but finally, they say goodbye to her and Margit wakes up confused in her bed.
