Talent (2021)

From Armin Kõomägi`s short story “Talent” comes a short film that portrays the price of success. It is made by the film arts students of TLU BFM.

Andreas Waar (Markus Truup), a dark and melancholic poet, is asked to perform at the Press Photo Exhibition. His equally ambitious girlfriend Lo (Katariina Tamm) is also invited there to photograph the event. Initially a successful event turns out to be an eyeopener for Andreas, when he comes to a revelation that real life is much more dark and tragic than his fictional poetry. Andreas ends up disappointed in himself as well as the world. Lo, who hasn't been noticed, finally gets a chance to step into the spotlight.
