A Question of Recording (2020)

The short documentary made by director-editor Eik Erik Sikk, DoP Tristan Luige and sound engineer Ralf Schneider creates an insight to the creative process of two Estonian music producers, Sander Mölder and Sammalhabe.

It may seem as if everything in today’s music is made only on computers, but there’s far more to it. Two Estonian musicians are observed in the middle of their everyday lives in their studios, working on new projects, through which we try and take a look at their inner selves, characters and approach to their profession. “A Question of Recording” is a start for a attempt to map the contemporary musical artists of Estonia in short portrait documentaries, and our first subjects are producers Sander Mölder and Sammalhabe.
