The End (2019)

The film begins in the cemetery where a boy Jacob (Jonas Nurmsalu) is playing happily and his mother Piibe (Ingrid Isotamm) is raking a grave, until his father Laur (Aarne Soro) comes to them with a car. Dad throws a joke and so they go home.

The next day mother is waiting for the father to come home, her son is doing schoolwork and when father arrives home they are ready to eat. But by the beginning of eating fathers mood has been ruined and he throws away the food mother has made. Then he orders himself a pizza, Jacob and his mother don’t get to eat this evening.

The next day Jacob walks home from school and rereads a poem in his hand until he sees a dog running out of a gate. He decides to go in and report about it to the owner, so she meets Linda (Katariina Unt). Linda is gathering twigs when Jacob is coming to talk about the situation. They click and Jacob decides to help Linda for a bit.

Then it's time for dinner, dad's in a good mood, he's talking about his own school life and how he's gotten so far in life. Jakob talks about the poetry competition that is about to take place in school, but his father does not allow the boy to participate.
The next day, Jacob has gone to help Linda, they are gardening and chatting, this conversation leads Linda to talk to Jacob about her way of living life - everyone has their own truth and it's their world, noone has the right to take it away .
It's weekend, the mother is sleeping, the father is working out and Jakob is planting trees with Linda.
On Tuesday night Jacob is practicing a poem in his room until its time is for dinner. Father has come home and the food is on the table. Laur begins with a question about the school and the grades of Jacob. Jacob says he's doing well, but his father had seen from e-school that Jacob got a bad grade. Father screams at Jacob and Jacob runs away from home.
