U48 2018: Reconstruction (2018)

A young man (Mihkel Vendel) is mowing the lawn in front of a huge mansion, his father (Meelis Rondo) and sister (Svetlana Novoseltseva) arrive for his birthday. The sister lies down on the lawn to sunbathe, and the man and his father go in. It’s a reconstruction project of an old family mansion. The two start working heavy on the reconstruction. While having a birthday cake it is revealed that his sister is heartbroken, and won’t be eating the cake. The father doesn’t understand her. It is revealed that the young man is also heartbroken, but hiding it behind keeping himself busy and working on the reconstruction project. When his father goes out to repair the lawn mower, he goes upstairs and suddenly stops to think for a second. He sits next to his sister and they share a moment of calmness. In the end of the day the father and sister leave, leaving him alone outside of the mansion, ready to mow more lawn. He starts it up and starts mowing the lawn. He stops for a second, to think if he should handle his heartbreak another way, but decides to continue mowing the lawn.
