Prospekt Mira (2018)

Young woman, Marina (Marina Vysotskaya) is coming to visit her grandmother (Irina Bencivenga) into industrial area of Ukraine. She is hiring construction workers and despite grandmother’s protest she is throwing away grandmother’s old soviet furniture. Stenka and wall rug, a constant subject of memes about russia turning out to be a stepping stone of communication between young and old. Offense of throwing them away is big and shocking, but not as important as mutual love and help in crisis situation.
