The Death of a Government Clerk (2017)

The film is set in a fictional dictatorship world. Ivan (Mart Toome), a poor government clerk is desperately trying to remain invisible at work, but an accidental sneeze on a higher official turns the situation against him. He then tries to apologise repeatedly, but isn’t noticed. Desperate, he writes a letter to apologise one last time, but this makes things even worse. Ivan walks home and dies on his couch. The story shows us what endless paranoia and constant fear can do to a feeble human mind.
