The Look (2015)

A fiction film tells the story of a young man with a curse.

Andres has the supernatural capacity to transform people into small toys by looking them in the eye. Due to the socially destructive nature of that curse, he has arranged his life to keep human beings at distance: he works as a salesperson for a travel agency via distance, lives his romantic life through chatting and talking over the phone to his colleague Anneli. His only face to face contact is his blind neigbour Jaan.
One day Andres is obliged to go in person to the travel agency he works for and has to face a surprise party in his honor during which he also transforms his boss into a toy.
The relationship with Anneli, who is also present during the event, appears to come to an end because Andres decides to cut all the ties to the outside world. When Andres decides to stop the curse by cutting his eyes, Anneli arrives just in time to save him through a compassionate look straight in the eye.
