The Untranslatable Love of Mountains (2014)

The film is a poetic look on Tallinn’s Mustamäe district. It begins with a bus journey and cityscapes. We arrive at someone’s home. We do not see, who is guiding us through the city. She looks at old photos. Evening falls and fireworks start. The morning brings magical light to the streets. We see figures of a woman and a child emerging on a park pathway. We return to the apartment and witness a photo of a woman appearing on the mirror, as if through the closed door. It is a memory of the filmmaker’s grandmother who lived in Mustamäe.
