Anne lives alone in her small town apartment in Estonia. She accepts a job offer to work as a caretaker for an Estonian expatriate Frida in Paris. Modest small-town Anne finds out that Frida is rich, moody, and liberal-minded woman of the world who has spent almost all her life in Paris. Frida is against the fact that she is being taken care of. What's more - she dislikes Estonians and pretends that she won't understand Estonian language.
