Ksenia Okhapkina graduated at St. Petersburg State University of Film and TV in 2012. Since 2014 Ksenia is working with Estonian company Vesilind. Her first documentary produced in Vesilind - Come Back Free - won a jury special prize at IDFA 2016. Immortal, released in 2019 won the best documentary prize at Karlovy Vary. She has shown her commitment to the composition and the meaningfulness of a single frame and her ability to capture “the poetic in profane”.
