Plot summary
1st Film Morning in a small village by the sea. Young Tom the dog gallops about on a wooden horse. The inventor Oskar the dog drives a vehicle he built himself onto the beet field to check the ripeness of the crop. Tom sees the unguarded vehicle and decides to try driving the car.
2nd Film Young Fluffy the girl dog goes to the village store to buy cakes for her pet flea Max. Tom meets Fluffy on the steps of the store and falls in love with her. At the same time, old Klaus the dog returns to the village from his trip around the world.
3rd Film Klaus and Tom have become close friends. Klaus teaches Tom how an enamored dog should approach the object of his love. Klaus’s help brings results - Fluffy also falls in love with Tom. Oskar takes the beets harvested from the field home and makes sugar from them.
4th Film Two childhood friends, Klaus and Oskar meet. Oskar invites Klaus, Tom and Fluffy over to taste fresh sugar. At the same time, two unidentified creatures also are interested in the sugar.
5th Film The unidentified creatures kidnap Fluffy sleeping in a hammock at night. Tom, Klaus and Oskar rush to rescue Fluffy in the morning. At the same time, however, the unidentified creatures steal Oskar’s sugar machine.
6th film Fred the spider directs Oskar onto the trail of the sugar machine. It turns out that the unidentified creatures are actually incredibly beautiful light blue butterflies. They succeed in making sugar beets again from sugar by running Oskar’s sugar machine backwards. They need the beets in order to successfully fly to warm lands for the winter.
7th Film Leo the gray rat is in love with the white Julia the girl mouse. Leo unsuccessfully tries to paint himself white, first with the help of flour, then with snow. But Leo’s color is not the main thing for Julia the girl mouse.
8th Film Julius the cat waits at the edge of the pond for Otto the monster to appear. Tom and Fluffy decide to help Julius and find Otto. Otto’s mother, however, celebrates her son Otto’s birthday at the bottom of the pond every day. Fluffy comes up with a plan for how Otto could go up to the water surface for a moment.
9th Film It is raining and all the villagers are in their homes. Only Klaus the wanderer crawls into his suitcase for shelter from the rain. The villagers decide to build a house for Klaus.
10th Film James the rabbit is in a serious crisis - he is not sure if he really is a rabbit. The famous Robinson pig circus arrives in town. After many unsuccessful attempts, James the rabbit finally finds out who he is.
11th Film Fluffy’s explorer father and mother give Fluffy a Korean chameleon as a present. The stubborn chameleon calms down only when it listens to singing. At the same time, animals flee from the attempts of Richard the bear to sing. The stubborn chameleon becomes the ardent admirer of the bear who loves to sing.
12th Film The Congo giant bamboo seed which got stuck between Klaus’s teeth many years ago began causing Klaus pain. Oskar performs a successful operation. The gigantic bamboo unexpectedly begins to grow at night, lifting the sleeping Klaus high up into the sky. Tom and Fluffy undertake a trip in a hot air balloon to save their friend.
13th Film The village is stricken by a drought. Oskar decides to invent an artificial rain cloud. Klaus’s onetime friend, the Dalmatian dog Victor, arrives in the village. Victor ignores the rules and accidentally ruins Oskar’s experiments with the artificial rain cloud. Victor hides in a dry well to save himself from the angry Oskar. There he finds Konrad the frog skating.
