Aleks (2021)

"Aleks" is a coming of age drama mini series, where we follow a 16 year old boy, who is on his path for finding himself.

Aleks (Roger Purtsak) comes from a small town located in East Estonia. He has a father, Andrei (Kristo Kambek), who is Russian and and is raising the boy to be the "real man." Aleks gets into the dancing industry despite his dad seeing Aleks`s future in football. He founds himself growing fame in the app called Tiktok, which is the starting point for him to become pro dancer. He gets into his local dance club and soon after is spotted by the trainer of the bigger club. Besides of graduating middle school he starts to attend the club that is much more far away. It comes out that he is only used for fame and advertisement. He gets back-stabbed by the community he thought he knew. Soon after graduating he packs his bags and gets on a bus heading Tallinn. He is going from door-to-door to get into some dance studio in Tallinn. After multiple rejections one studio accepts him and after a while he becomes the trainer there. During the story he is struggling with his family and friends relationships and has to stay true to his goals.
