Finding the sizzle (2022)

Liis Slugens documentary talks about a young burlesque dancer Miss Chrissy Kiss and how burlesque has changed her life radically. 

Chrissy is a regular Estonian woman that grew up shy and awkward, never really happy with herself. By a chance she found herself in a burlesque lesson and found herself through it. Now, almost ten years later 95% of her life is around burlesque activities, she makes costumes, practises routines, draws ideas and so on. She is trying to live outside of the regular social norm and give herself a more meaningful life through burlesque. The documentary shows all her regular every day activities, culminating with a burlesque show.
