Women Fishers (2013)

Survival of two ladies on the sea.
The film explores Gölyazı island that is located in Turkey and famous with women fishers.
At the movie we see the profile of two women fishers - Nermin and Fadime. The story of the village is also told through these two fisher ladies. This is not just the story of these two ladies but also the story of all the women fishers in the island.
Through the movie we see a usual day of women fisher’s in the island. What they do and how they do it. At the interview part we hear the story of themselves, island nowadays and in the past, most importantly cultural change at the society that has been living there.
This is the story of two strong women.
