Estonia, 1872. The uncompromising new owner of Robber’s Rise must battle with hard work, his spiteful neighbor and with his own family and beliefs to transform the poor land into a flourishing farm of his dreams – to bring truth and justice to a god forsaken place.
The first full-length feature film directed by Katrin Laur tells the story of 7-year-old boy Ruudi who wants to take part in the viking trip for fathers and sons. He holds a contest for finding a father for himself. The award for the winner will be himself, his mother, and the fabulous viking treasure.
