Miia Tervo
Award-winning director Miia Tervo grew up in Lapland. Her short films The Seal (2006), The Little Snow Animal (2009), Santra and the Talking Trees (2013), Clumsy Little Acts of Tenderness (2015) have all made several rounds at film festivals worldwide including IDFA. The Little Snow Animal also received an EFA nomination. Tervo's debut feature film Aurora (2019) was a critical and box-office success.
