Simple people find a little bit of free time for themselves in order to practice art. Director Soosaar asks the artists how their artwork has been born. Every piece has its own story. Jaan Oad who was born in Kihnu island but resided in Canada in his elderly years has depicted the history of Kihnu island in his artwork. Former schoolteacher Paul Kondas appears to the door of his house, wearing the costume of a grasshopper, fiddles on his violin and recites a poem.
