Title in Estonian: Pärnu - mure ja häbi?
Pärnu mud baths celebrated its 150-year anniversary in 1988. The documentary observes the consequences of the extensive development of health centers and industry during the post-war period in the resort town of Pärnu. That has been in acute opposition with the actual needs of the town. The water of Pärnu Bay is hopelessly contaminated, the social-economical development of the town has fallen behind for about ten years.
