The island of boys (1977)

The traditional summer camp of Pärnu boys' club in Kõrglaiu, a small island in Riga Bay. There are plenty of activities on the island of boys. The boys compete in bicycle race and in climbing on the rope ladder; they learn motorbike ride and mowing with the scythe, have fun in water and go on a battleship. There is also military training included in the camp: assembling of automatic guns, terrain game with obstacle course and shooting. At sea, the boys get acquainted with the work of divers. Interesting competitions create excitement – sharpshooting with the life ring; somersault race; tug of war; trick race on bicycles; competition in mending a sock; swimming race on rubber mattresses. One should never lose good mood. The boys' slogan is: everything is great – EIG.
