Family 47 (1978)

Enn and Helga Nõu's trip to Canada and to the United States of America in 1978. Meeting lots of expatriate Estonians in Kotkajärve Forest University. Open-air lectures. Heino Susi is speaking, among the audience there are poetess Valli Naelapea, artist Peeter Sepp, Vello Soots. Helga Nõu's lecture. A ravenous chipmunk is eating on the summer cottage's balcony. Among others there is Valev Uibopuu's daughter Merike Kammar-Kerner on the mooring by the lake. Scoutmaster Heino Jõel is visiting. Play rehearsal on the meadow. Vello Soots, Ilse Lehiste, Taavo Virkhaus, Olav Lille with his wife, Urve Auksi, Rein Taagepera and Olaf Kopvillem with his wife are talking to each other.
Helga and Enn Nõu take the plane from New York LaGuardia airport to Washington D.C. and there they take a car to go sightseeing - Watergate complex, the White House, Washington Monument, Arlington National Cemetery with the graves of President John Kennedy and Senator Robert Kennedy, the United States Capitol, National Air and Space Museum. Helga and Enn are accompanied by Ilo-Mai Lipping. Pedro Krusten and Voldemar Veedam at Vaike and Ilmar Külvet's home. They visit the house of President George Washington together with Hellar Grabbi.
