Family 34 (1973)

The Nõu family travels to Norway in summer 1973. Their trip takes them through Dalarna area in Sweden towards the north. The landscape is mountainous, the rapid mountain rivers and waterfalls, the highest waterfall of Sweden - Njupeskär. The famous Dala wooden horses of Dalarna are standing by the road. Houses in Trondheim, Norway are hemming the coasts of fjords. The pride of the town - Nidaros Dome Church; view from the high up to the panorama of the town. The family drives on E6 road towards the south, they pass Lillehammer church. Beautiful views of nature, snowy mountain tops, forests, rapids, rivers and waterfalls. Streets and tourist sights in Oslo: the university, national theatre, Frogner Park, Vigeland Sculpture Park. Sculptures designed by Gustav Vigeland, a 16-metre-high monolith column in the centre of the park. The family visits the museum of Viking ships, there is the Oseberg Ship in the museum hall.
