Documentary focuses on the birth of Hannes Martjak in the collective farm called May 9th in Paide district, Estonia. Registering his name in Väätsa culture house. The documentary shows episodes about the namegiving party and the surroundings of the home where the baby Hannes lives – residential buildings, construction work, grain harvesting, work in the cowshed, tractor harvesting the dry hay in the field, making ensilage. The film also depicts Hannes' parents Ene and Villem Martjak, Endel Lieberg - head of the collective farm.
