Poetic documentary depicting the spider excavator working in night shift in Sirgala oil shale mine. The excavator keeps working in the mine day and night. The usual staff for one excavator includes three-four men: the machinist, his assistant, the electrician and the technician applying grease. It's night, the lights of an excavator shine in the dark, man in the excavator cabin is driving this enormous machine. The spider excavator seems to be like a solitary functioning huge monstrum in the middle of the night in a bleak mine.
